The South African Hijama Society works tirelessly to find ways to bridge the gaps between modern and ancient medicine, bringing the World a course that encompasses both the Islamic and Medical aspects of Hijama.
Considering Training? Here's what you need to know:
This is a 1 month to 3 weeks course, with theory and practical training, respectively.
Our training sessions are held in Durban, Johannesburg, and Cape Town.
We do require our practitioners to have a basic understanding of Human Anatomy.
Before your training, you will be given videos and thereafter assignments to help broaden your knowledge regarding the Human body and its systems.
A textbook written by the South African Hijama Society is provided with the training.
For the student to become confident in the use of the Hijama, a practical training session is held in Durban, Cape Town, or Johannesburg as per the training schedule.
The practical training along with a written test, practicals, and assignments is used to deem the student competent.
